The SLIM Project, Inc. was founded in honor of a beloved brother, affectionately known as Slim, whose life was tragically taken on April 10, 2020. Out of heartbreak came a divine assignment: to save lives, influence minds, and serve those navigating some of life’s hardest battles.
What began as pain has become purpose. Today, The SLIM Project stands as a movement of hope, healing, restoration, and empowerment for individuals and families in need.

Providing guidance, mentorship, life skills, and reentry support for incarcerated individuals before and after release.
2. Funeral & Burial Assistance Program
Helping families honor loved ones with dignity when financial resources are limited.
3. Overcomers of Addiction Program
Supporting individuals on their path to recovery through mentorship, accountability, and access to helpful resources.
4. Dependents Assistance Program
Serving the children and dependents of fallen victims with support, encouragement, and life-enriching opportunities.

Alphonso L. Morris Sr. is the founder of The SLIM Project, Inc., a visionary leader committed to helping others heal, grow, and overcome. Through lived experience, faith, and purpose-driven leadership, he has dedicated his life to uplifting the overlooked and standing in the gap for those in crisis.
